April is Youth Month
We celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month every April to encourage healthy savings habits for kids. Learning about money starts early, and our Youth Accounts will help your kids get started the fun way!
This year, Youth Month is focused on how to unleash the power of savings. We want you to really think about your savings and what your goals are for the future. With a youth savings account+ that earns compound interest, young members can make small regular deposits and watch their savings grow. The earlier they start a savings account, the more it will grow, and the easier it will be to achieve their dreams. Learning this good financial habit at a young age will set them up on the path to successful financial well-being.

Three lucky drawing entrants will be the winners of either one of two brand-new bicycles or a laptop this April! The winners will be selected by random drawing from this entry form. Two bicycle winners will have their choice of a bicycle up to a $150.00 value** and one laptop winner will receive a Google Chromebook valued at $100.00!

*The Youth Month Prize Drawing is FREE to enter and open to all youth 17 years old or younger, who visit a participating Service One Credit Union branch and submit a digital entry form during the entry period of April 1 – 30, 2023. Winners will be selected on May 1, 2023, and the adult legal guardian will be contacted privately via telephone and/or email. While youth and their family members and/or guardians are encouraged to make a deposit at the credit union, no deposit nor transaction is required to enter. Parents/guardians giving permission for their youth to enter can submit an entry from this webpage, socu.com/youthmonth. Prizes are for (2) bicycles valued at $150.00 or less and a Chromebook laptop valued at $100.00. Limit one entry per person. The odds of winning depend on the number of entrants. This contest is void where prohibited.
**An adult legal guardian will assist in choosing the bike to ensure the size is correct for the winner.
+ A share account is required for new members with a par value of $25 into the savings account. For checking accounts, a minimum deposit of $50 is required to open the account.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering this contest and giveaway and/or accepting a prize as a selected winner, the adult legal guardian of each entrant/winner agrees that he/she has read these Official Rules and that he/she will be strictly bound by them. Service One’s decisions shall be final in all matters pertaining to this giveaway and any/all prizes awarded. By accepting a prize, legal adult guardians of youth winners grant Service One the right to use their individual names, photographs, and likenesses for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes and for any other such purposes as Service One so determines, in any and all media worldwide without limitation, without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Service One reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, viruses, tampering, or any other factor beyond Service One's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway, as determined by Service One in its sole discretion. In such an event, Service One reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the giveaway and award the prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. Service One reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Service One's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
PRIVACY: Any personally identifiable information collected during your participation in this giveaway will be collected by Service One and used by it and its agents for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the giveaway as described in these Official Rules.
